Privacy Policy
What AAmericanBrad collects, why, and how it’s handled.
Who We Are
AAmericanBrad.com is an independent personal travel publication. This policy explains what information the site collects from visitors and how it’s used.
Information Collected Through Forms
If you submit the contact form, the site receives the name, email address, inquiry type, and message you provide, used only to respond to you. If you submit the newsletter signup (“The Boarding Call”), the site receives the email address you provide, used only to send the newsletter once that service is fully connected. Neither form sells or shares your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Cookies
This site uses a cookie consent tool to let visitors choose which non-essential cookies to allow, and it may use standard WordPress cookies for basic site functionality (such as remembering that you’ve seen the cookie notice). You can review and change your cookie choices at any time through the consent banner.
Comments
If commenting is enabled on a future post, comment data (name, email, IP address, and browser user agent) may be collected to help with spam detection, consistent with standard WordPress behavior.
Embedded Content
Articles may eventually include embedded content (for example, an Instagram post). Embedded content from other websites behaves as if you visited that website directly, and those sites may collect data about your interaction with it.
How Long Data Is Retained
Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to and resolve the inquiry. Newsletter email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe.
Your Rights
You can request a copy of the personal data AAmericanBrad holds about you, or request that it be deleted, by reaching out through the Contact page.
Questions
Privacy questions can be directed through the Contact page using the “General” inquiry type.
This policy is written in plain language for a small independent publication and is not a substitute for formal legal advice.
