Editorial Independence
AAmericanBrad is an independent personal publication written by Brad. Nobody outside of Brad reviews, approves, or edits a story before it publishes, and no airline, hotel chain, rental car company, or card issuer has ever seen a draft in advance or requested a change. Opinions on this site — about a seat, a lounge, a room, a card, or a status program — are Brad’s own, based on his own experience.
Not Affiliated With American Airlines
AAmericanBrad is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of American Airlines, AAdvantage, or the American Airlines Group. References to American Airlines, AAdvantage, Admirals Club, and similar names are used in normal editorial context to describe Brad’s real experience as a customer, not as claims of sponsorship or partnership.
Advertising & Affiliate Links
AAmericanBrad does not currently run advertising and does not currently have an affiliate relationship with any airline, hotel program, rental car company, or credit card issuer. If that changes — for example, if a future article includes an affiliate link that could earn the site a commission — it will be clearly disclosed at the top of that specific article, not buried in fine print.
Sponsored Content
AAmericanBrad has not published sponsored or paid content. If a future post is ever sponsored in any way, it will be labeled as sponsored clearly and prominently, before the headline, not after the fact.
Complimentary Products & Travel
If a hotel, airline, or other company ever provides Brad with a complimentary stay, upgrade, product, or experience for review purposes, that will be disclosed within the relevant article. As of publication, no content on this site has been produced in exchange for complimentary products or travel — Brad’s flights, stays, rentals, and cards reflect his own spending and his own loyalty relationships.
Corrections Policy
Travel information changes — routes get dropped, lounges get renovated, benefits get restructured. If something on this site is factually wrong or has become outdated, AAmericanBrad will correct it and note the correction at the bottom of the affected article rather than quietly editing it away. If you spot something that needs a second look, use the Contact page and select “Reader Question.”
Illustrative Data
Some pages on this site — including the Flight Log and AA By the Numbers — currently display illustrative example data to demonstrate the format those features will eventually use. Anywhere that’s the case, it’s labeled clearly on the page itself. Illustrative data is never used to make a specific factual claim about a real flight, delay, or stay.
